Nicole is a self-taught photographer, director, editor and cinematographer born in Los Angeles, California and raised in Tijuana, Mexico. She uses photography and filmmaking as vehicles to explore intimacy, and appreciates life most when she is telling stories and creating art.
She runs a media production studio called so blur, and is releasing a forthcoming podcast called Pop My Cinema about iconic directors and their first feature films.
Nicole’s recent commercial work can be found across all Taylor Guitars and Powers Electric Guitars platforms. Her recent film work includes two narrative short films “Like Honey” (2022), which premiered at the 30th San Diego Latino Film Festival and “Farewell” (2023). She is currently in post-production as the director and dp of “Angel” (2024) a short film about a woman’s surrealistic encounter with the divine.
